How to troubleshoot printing (Final)

8. You can not execute the command File -> Print

You can not select File / Print, because your computer has not found that it is connected to a printer. You only need to reinstall the printer, the problem will be overcome.

9. You can not print the page border

Most printers can not print text or images are too close to the edge of the page. By default, the border is located near the edge of the page, this is the reason your printer can not process them. Please do the following steps to resolve this problem:

• Select Format / Borders and Shading. Borders and Shading dialog box appears
• Select Page Boder tab
• Click the Options button to open the Borders and Shading Options dialog box
• Margin below, enter the size (in pixels) is larger than the boxes Top, Bottom, Left and Right to move the border away from the edge of the page.
• Click OK twice.

10. Your printer printing too slow

Print speed depends on the speed of processing the document ask. "Print in the background" means Word can print the file while you do other tasks (eg formatting a document or enter text). If you turn off background printing, you ask Word devoted all its resources into action and results print, so the documents will be printed faster. However, the disadvantage is that you can not do any work on the document when it is being printed out. Perform the following steps if you want to turn off the mechanism printing the background:

• Select Tools/Options
• Select the Print tab in the Options dialog
• Uncheck the box Background Printing and click OK

Some tips when using the printer to restrict bad problem:

• You should buy the paper type according to the requirements of user manuals. You should not buy those poor quality printing paper (eg too thin) because poor quality paper stuck while printing. You should not put printing paper in wet environments because when you print paper may seem the ink spots.
• Constantly updated drivers from the manufacturer's website to improve the printer work as fix the printing problem in printers and many more new features.
• Always spend time in the weekly clean it, make sure that dust will not seem on the printer or shredded paper left in the machine because it will lead to paper jams and especially you have to keep the print head always clean.
